The Turf House : Sitting Room
The Turf house features beautiful antiques and original artwork by Jo Christoffersen and mosaic artwork in the kitchen by Jan Kilpatrick of Wild Tiles.
From the living-room, through the wall-to-ceiling windows in the gable end can be seen a range of mountains, magnificent in all seasons.
The Turf house commands impressive views towards Stac Pollaidh to the east (see below)

Directions
From Inverness travel northwards for 80 miles on A835 to Ullapool. From Ullapool, continue North for 10 miles along A835, before turning left at Drumrunie Junction onto the single-track road, signposted Achiltibuie and the Summer Isles. After 12 miles turn right at Achnahaird/Achiltibuie junction signposted Achnahaird and Beach. Stac Pollaidh Self Catering is ½ mile away after the 3rd house up the hill in the small village of Achnahaird.
